FED: National autism register to be established
A national register will be created to track the rising incidence of Autism Spectrum
Disorders in Australia.
Speaking at the Asia Pacific autism conference in Sydney .. Parliamentary Secretary
for Disabilities BILL SHORTEN said the extent of autism in Australia needs to be monitored
.. so people with the condition can be properly supported.
Autism affects one in 150 Australians.
