SA: Adelaide petrol prices rose in November, says RAA
The Royal Automobile Authority says petrol prices have risen to an average of 94.7
cents per litre in Adelaide in November.
Spokeswoman WENDY BEVAN says the average price has risen by 1.5 cents per litre from October.
Ms BEVAN has renewed calls for the federal government to commit to freezing next February's
planned rise in fuel excise.
She says South Australian voters understand the difference between rises due to oil
prices and rises due to higher taxes.
She says they understand that it's within the government's power to do something about
the tax component.
Ms BEVAN says research shows that voters won't be bought off with promises of better
roads if they can no longer afford to drive on them.
